Microsoft Build (2026)
Creative Producer: Experiential Activation Lead while at Aquent
Build is Microsoft’s developer-focused proprietary event, held in 2026 at Fort Mason in San Francisco. As Experiential Activations Lead, I worked across the activations at Build to ensure a focus on attendee experience and creative cohesion. The activations I guided the most were the Xbox Gaming Lounge and the Microsoft Marketplace. I also had input on the Microsoft entry arches and the visual cohesion of the activations as a whole.
The aim for this year's Build was to invoke a festival-like atmosphere, with inviting activations encouraging exploration across the campus. A chill Xbox Gaming Lounge offered a break from the rest of the business at the convention, while still providing a fun branded experience for Xbox. The Microsoft Marketplace was designed to feel like a marketplace, so attendees could easily understand the brand and appreciate cute displays of faux products.
